1960-1961: M.Sc. (Oil and Gas Eng.) Penn State University, U.S.A.

1963-1968: Ph.D.(Mathematics) University of Washington, U.S.A. Minor thesis: The multiplicative group of a field. Major thesis: Periodic homomorphism sequences.
