Biography

Jill is the Unit Co-ordinator and a Lecturer in Negotiation and Mediation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Western Australia. Jill has also lectured in Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Notre Dame in 2005-2008. Jill has practised as a solicitor in the area of dispute resolution in private law firms and is a LEADR accredited mediator who currently mediates at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Perth. Jill has trained private practitioners, UWA executive and academic staff, and tenant advocates, in interest-based negotiation and mediation.

Jill holds degrees in English, Psychology (Honours 1A) and an LLB (Honours 1A) and has just recently completed her PhD in Law at the University of Western Australia.
