Biography
Dr Scott Martyn (BSc(Hons), BE(Hons), DPhil, MIEAust, MIET) completed undergraduate degrees with honours in both pharmacology as well as electrical & electronic engineering at The University of Western Australia. This was followed by postgraduate research towards a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Oxford where he investigated the electrospray of nanoparticles and proteins for applications in biotechnology and nanotechnology. Dr Martyn then spent a year developing point-of-care monitoring devices for Philips Research Laboratories in the United Kingdom before returning to Western Australia. He is now consulting to UWA’s Centre for Strategic Nanofabrication whilst studying medicine at The University of Notre Dame Australia.
