Biography

I have a varied background as a nurse/midwife and researcher. I have worked in both the hospital and community and also as a midwife for a charity (Urban Aid), in a slum in Ghana.
As a research nurse/midwife I have gained experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, especially in relation to programs designed to meet the needs of pregnant women and the midwives who care for them.
I have a Health Sciences degree, Master in Nursing Research and am currently a PhD candidate with the School of Women’s and Infants’ Health and the School of Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Western Australia.
