Biography
Having completed his B.Sc. Mathematics in 1968, Les went on to graduate from the University of Adelaide in 1969 with Honours in Computer Science. After submission of his PhD, he took up his first role at UWA as a Lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Statistics in 1973. After many years of service to the University, Les embarked on a number of Visiting Appointments during his time here between 1980 and 1999. In 2001, Les was appointed Head of School of Mathematics and Statistics, which is currently the role that he is undertaking.
