Public lectures

UWA is a source of information on climate change for the community.

Leading academics present public lectures on topical and important issues.

Flexibility and responsiveness are hallmarks of UWA.

To complement our well established and professional degree programs, two new Bachelor of Science degrees have been developed to prepare the science minds of the future, for the challenges of the future:

Climate Studies is a four-year Bachelor of Science Degree which draws on the expertise of four faculties to teach climate processes, the interaction of the atmosphere with other components of the Earth system and the economic and policy issues of climate change. This course is one of the first of its kind in Australia.

Green Chemistry is a new Bachelor of Science Degree which has been created at UWA for the development of alternative processing technologies to reduce the overall environmental impact of chemical production, including reduction of the carbon footprint of chemical processes.
