Current projects

Within the campus development and planning framework there are a number of projects underway in and around the University at any one time.

Current projects can range from student accommodation, academic or administrative facilities on campus, or facilities for the wider community developed in other areas of the Perth metropolitan area or in regional areas.

New Student Accommodation Development - University Hall
UWA has recently constructed new, high quality, self-contained student accommodation on campus.

Fairway 4 Teaching and Research Projects

Two significant teaching and research facilities have recently received development approval and will be constructed on the Crawley Campus. These state-of-the-art facilities will assist with critical research into the sustainability of resources, climate change and environmental protection.

Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre
Consisting of two projects, the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre is a collaborative partnership between UWA, AIMS, CSIRO and the Department of Fisheries, Western Australia.
Location: Watermans Bay Marine Centre and UWA Crawley Campus
